From the desk of Post 12 Commander Lehman "Ug" Irby
Welcome to 2025. We had a fairly successful 2024. We were finally awarded the property from Houston County, unfortunately navigating the City bureaucratic maze has proven to be a huge undertaking. We have decide to pursue other avenues in procuring a Post home. I want to encourage our membership to get more involved with the Post's endeavors. We have a very good slate of members who are involved but with some of our events it takes a little more. We have submitted an application for a Sons of the American Legion squadron. This is an exciting venture for us to get younger people involved who share our sense of pride, and duty, to our organization. Post 12's future depends greatly on us getting a place to call home, but this will take money. There is a QR code on our website that you can scan to donate to our building fund. Please consider investing in the future of your Post home. Our family is grown and I want to thank each and every one of our family members for your dedication. Let's ban together and make 2025 the best year yet for the Post 12 family.

Jason Barfield Memorial Flag Day Ride Sponsored by American Legion Post 12
This event is scheduled for June 14, 2025. This has been an annual event for Post 12 for many years. This year we are changing things up a bit, we are honor a local veteran who gave the ultimate sacrifice for a grateful nation, LCPL Jason Barfield, a local hero that graduated from Ashford High School. 2nd Annual American Legion Post 12 Car & Bike Show
Our 2nd annual American Legion Post 12 Car & Bike show is scheduled for August 16, 2025, make up date if needed August 23, 2025, at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Our first car & Bile show held last year, at the same location was a huge success and this year will be even better! Please check back soon for more details.
